Highway Associates Limited is my family’s business, which I took on responsibility for while completing my degree. I now run the company, overseeing its financial side. It’s a flexible position that fits alongside my other commitments, but one that carries genuine responsibility.
I’ve always worked alongside my studies, and running a business while completing an Economics degree has given me an unusual combination of academic and practical experience. I haven’t just studied the decisions businesses make. I’ve had to make them, manage the finances behind them and understand their consequences.
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and responsibility I’ve been given, while ultimately looking forward to building my own career alongside it.
